West Side Career and Technology Center is located at 75 Evans St., in the Pringle section of Kingston. West Side CTC offers a comprehensive high school education that combines Pennsylvania Department of Education mandated academic curriculum with state of the arts technological training for students in grades 9 thru 12. In addition; students in grades 10 thru 12 may be eligible to attend our school on a part time basis. The programs at West Side CTC allow students the option of continuing with post secondary education, or entering the work force directly after graduation. Students also have the opportunity to jump start his or her career and save money by acquiring Industry-Standard credentials and certifications that can lead to high skill/high wage jobs.
We serve students in the Northwest Area; Wyoming Area; Wyoming Valley West; Lake Lehman Area and Dallas Area School Districts. In addition; students in Greater Nanticoke Area, Hanover Area, Wilkes-Barre Area, Pittston Area, Crestwood and Old Forge School Districts may also be eligible to attend.
The 2008-2009 school year marked our 40th anniversary. It also represented a name change to West Side Career & Technology Center, to better reflect our goal of Building Careers One Student at a Time. Throughout our 40 year history, we have helped build the careers of more than 24,000 students.
